Solution: sticky an all-day thread where people submit ONLY gun posts as top-level comments, and people can easily click "hide child comments" and vote on their favorites.

Again, I'll reiterate I'm pro-2A. And part of my point is that in today's world of riots, the 2A is celebrated in almost every thread.
Most people glance at Hot and go about their day. So the most relevant news escapes the majority of eyes.

I remember the mods saying they'll be opening up more .win communities slowly, and there's already a huge backlog.. so it's possible this is already in the works

I really like your suggestion of a new domain! That way people who are really into it, can have it 7 days a week.
"Just scroll past" is what I've been doing since I joined honestly, because I'm here to be better informed. But one day a week is 15% of the time, and more than just a few posts. Mods also tend to sticky mostly gun related posts as well.
My concern is with our community (and myself) being as informed as possible, since the news is being censored in most other outlets.. and having a soft censorship on all non-gun related topics imo hurts us, even if it's only 1 day a week.
Personally, I like it. I get to see other people's loadouts. Makes me think of what else I may need.

It doesn't bother me regardless. If they mods change something, I'll roll with it because I'm here to support Trump. But I love guns and 2A and like that there's a place that isn't afraid to represent. It's as American as baseball. Way more so now.

There isn't a lot of news on Sundays. It's the day the MSM uses to come up with the next "walls are closing in bombshell" while using the morning talk shows to spread lies.
Maybe a few years ago yeah. But we live in a 24 hour news cycle, Sundays aren't exempted. Trump is still rallying. No days off. e.g. New info came out today in regards to the antifa connection with the wildfires
