I voted absentee ballot in NC a few days ago. I took my ballot directly to our Country Registrar myself. They had a booth set up in their parking lot, and lots of people were hand delivering their ballots. Bypassing the Post office is the best option to make sure your vote counts.
That won’t do you any good to find out your vote got ‘lost’ only after election day. Unless you vote early enough and the ballots are counted before election day.
