Curious people were reading the details of these crimes YEARS ago. We're supposed to believe it's happenstance that, 'oops, it's going to take until a few days past the election to charge anyone because crossing Ts and dotting Is'?

Within 2 years of accepting the job as Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort was in prison for the rest of his life. A coup was attempted against a duly elected president 4 years ago and nobody has spent a day in jail. In the story cited here, the Democrats successfully used the bogus prosecution to take that Senate seat.

It's just another version of lose with dignity. Maybe lose with professionalism is what they'll go with.

Probably. Also interesting who was involved in this:

“On October 8, 2008, Judge Emmet Sullivan denied a mistrial requested by the Defense due to the late production by the government of more than 100 FBI interview memoranda of witnesses the government did not intend to call“

It wouldn’t hurt to have a few public arrests even if they go nowhere like the FBI did with Stone and Kolfage.
