A great book, you might like it with your field of work, but reading about a microbe threatening life on Earth might be a little much right now for most people. I like historical escapism especially, so Eaters of the Dead is a favorite of mine. I guess it helps that I loved the movie adaptation, The 13th Warrior, one of my favorite movies!
