The healthcare isn't particularly expensive, it's the welfare programs (always is, even in the US). Not only do they make up more of the budget than military, police and healthcare together. They also act like a wet blanket on productivity and the economy in general.
I don’t know how true that is. Medicare and medicaid combined are the biggest entitlements payouts we have right now, but social security is bigger than either one independently. I'm (genuinely) not sure what the point of your questions are, but essentially my point is that with things such as the link you've provided about Turkey and Germany, as well as things like the mass migration to Germany in the last decade are less likely in a Germany that is nationalistic and not beholden to any international influence (to include the US).
Germany and much of western Europe needs western gibs mostly, if not completely, cut off. Germany needs to experience economic hardship in order for them to not feel a false sense of security that comes with globalism. Only then can nationalistic politicians rise and economic alliances with similarly-minded countries be forged. After Germany falls into economic hardship they're going to want change, and they're not going to be willing to foot the bill for the EU.
This crash is already coming with the exit of the UK, Germany's commitment to moving away from coal and nuclear, and now hopefully their need to pay significantly more for their defense. Germany will make less frivolous, and more nationalistic decisions once these things happen.
But what if it is not economic success that is the source of the decadence, degeneracy, insanity and evil, but other factors? What does the images I linked to point to reg. that? Has the deep state in the USA (as well as the Soviet Union) acted not just towards the destruction of the USA, but civilization and the human species worldwide? The problem with Poland is that the current ruling party is not doing that great either when it comes to the economy, taxes, and welfare policies, as well as arranging some shady deals behind closed doors. Many people are really unhappy with it so they vote for the largest alternative and they will probably do the same in the next election. But that alternative is a commie trojan horse full of foreign deals, antifa, and LGBT ideology that's shipped directly from abroad and has no connection to Polish culture and society. Literally a mini-Democratic party of our own. There was even some faux LGBT police brutality incident a few weeks ago that turned out to be completely bogus. Problem with current Polish ruling party (Law and Justice) is that they are mix of literally everything - from fringe left to far right. The brief summary of them would by "leftists with a pro-religion stance". I know it's difficult to phantom in US realities, but that's what it really is.
On one hand they proud themselves as being "the right" and "defenders against EU wokeness", on the other hand they erode the property laws and create welfare state.
Fairly recently they implemented anti-family law ("separation of the domestic violence perpetrators" - everyone can be removed from their property permanently because of the "he said/she said" based just on the decision of a cop; yep, cop, not the judge).
Property laws are continuously eroded, as I mentioned. If you rent your apartment/house to anyone, they don't really need to pay you anything and you can't evict them easily. It will take you few years to get them out and it will be a major hustle.
As to the US - Polish relations, we're strongly committed US ally, the problem is that it's fairly common perception that we are getting fucked over it. I won't divulge into details, because I imagine it's rather uninteresting.
Poland is still very peaceful and overall good place to live, but we're not immune to the leftist agenda. And I feel we're losing the long-term political battle to it.
Gender roles here are pretty weird frankly, I mean they are complete mix of both worlds. Women, in general, work and rarely become housewives for extended time period.
On the other hand they stay away of many of the professions. You'll almost never see any woman doing trade job or driving a bus. They dominate healthcare, teaching, office jobs and so on. And to be clear: it's purely their choice, they are of course free to choose any profession they like.
I'm always a little bit shocked when I see like women electrician in the US. :) Not because women can't do it (of course they can), but it's so rare thing where I live.

I heard from a lady from Sweden, or one of those high-welfare countries that because taxes are so high, if they lived there it would be impossible to live on one salary. On paper, it looked nice with "free" healthcare, childcare, and lots of social programs, but it takes a lot of money to pay for all that, so the result was that most couldn't be a stay at home mom because after taxes there usually wasn't enough of dad's salary left to live on.

Not when you consider the low fertility rates in a lot of Europe. It's causing issues like deflation putting pressure on leaders to consider immigration as job vacancies are left unfilled and there are not enough people to buy up homes. Now the East/West divide has reared its head in many ways and the East has embraced their homogenous Christian roots, while the west is Secular and global. The Greens are now almost 20% of Germany and they want lower fertility rates because they believe a baby in a Rich nation is the worst thing that could happen to the environment. I personally believe the solution to sustainable energy will come from a Rich nation and so it might actually be beneficial to have another baby. That being said I think that's only true if the culture values engineering strongly.
It's so true. I live in Germany with my wife and you just don't see that many (German) families around. When you go to public areas in the summer a vast majority of the kids you see are mostly of Turkish descent. The West simply isn't interested in having kids these days.

Of course, money spent is far from the only factor, but it is still an important factor.
True, their GDP is low. However, their economies are also some of the fastest-growing in the EU.
That is a reasonable point, though whether their growth will slow (greatly or a bit), stay about the same or increase, or what will happen, can be difficult to predict. If Western Europe falls, it would impact those countries greatly as well in multiple different ways (or worse).
