Not when you consider the low fertility rates in a lot of Europe. It's causing issues like deflation putting pressure on leaders to consider immigration as job vacancies are left unfilled and there are not enough people to buy up homes. Now the East/West divide has reared its head in many ways and the East has embraced their homogenous Christian roots, while the west is Secular and global. The Greens are now almost 20% of Germany and they want lower fertility rates because they believe a baby in a Rich nation is the worst thing that could happen to the environment. I personally believe the solution to sustainable energy will come from a Rich nation and so it might actually be beneficial to have another baby. That being said I think that's only true if the culture values engineering strongly.
