Communist like to refer to this time period as “late-stage capitalism.” I’d like to introduce a new term, “late-stage civility.” Societies that are so civilized and tolerant that they allow all manner of evils. What will they say when this trans-commander brings his 10 year old slave boy to work? Think it can’t happen?
