Region is destabilizing as we speak and without strong NATO presence it's gonna get whole lot worse. The problem is, NATO doesn't exist anymore beside the name (consider recent French/Greek actions against Turkey) and none of it's members is really interested in sorting things out. If Belarus is eventually flipped completely to Russian influence (this is happening now; Belarus was kind of no-mans-land for the last 30 years, but it's changing to Russian advantage) then things will get much more dire real fast.
If countries like Norway has a credible defence and a robust answer to russian manouvres we do not need assistance from US to give a appropriate response and we can properly maintain NATO security without bringing the US.
Strong European NATO partners = Local solutions to local challenges.
Trump must act on Turkey/Greece. I do not like turkeys action, nor what might look like a weak german response in the face of Erdogan.
Not more so than it already is. Kaliningrad honestly should not even be Russian territory. It was annexed by the Soviets in WW2, and should be Polish or Lithuanian. (since Prussia doesn't exist anymore)
Imagine China claiming some island off our coast during a war and keeping it after. It's like the perfect base to spy from for Russia. Saying that "you're putting bases too close to our territory" when their "territory" is smack in the middle of Europe and nowhere near Russia is just ridiculous whining.
They don't want America's presence anywhere in Europe, primarily because we are competition for their gas. Of course they will complain about destabilization.
As much as I want it, imagine how much that could destabilize the region. Imagine China / Russia putting bases in Mexico-

I hear that, but the old adage of “if your neighbor is being invaded, you are being invaded” will not play well at all in the 21st century..
Trumpism will lead to increased stability.

They lost 20 million lives for that land
And massacred many Poles in the process; people who were trying to defend their homeland rather than invade Russia.
