Thank you for this post. Watching footage of Pearl Harbor, Normandy, and all the other battles makes me realize what real men were meant to be. Knowing many of them, like my dad, were seventeen years old, and quit school to go to war. How they managed to live a normal life after experiencing the horror and carnage of war will always keep me in awe.
