I’ve got big issues with Rogan, as in he’s the kind of idiot that would call out leftist nonsense as the reason for leaving California and then move to Texas and vote blue, but he’s got a huge following, and I do think he’d be a fair moderator.

Rogan tried to moderate a vegan vs keto or something debate and it was a shit show. He's not a good debate moderator. However it's a good platform for open ended discussion.

Yes but he also moderated Tim Pool with Jack Dorsey and lawyer. It was a shit show but a spectacularly awesome shit show. I think Joe Biden's would be similar. Who knows maybe he'd bring his own lawyer too.

It's still amazing to me how a 32 (then) year old high school dropout skateboarder from the south side of Chicago made a highly important CEO and a high priced lawyer look like complete bitches.

(Yes I know he got his GED immediately, and he works his ass off)

Jack Dorsey made a Rails app 12 years ago that accidentally took off. He's extremely overrated and beyond full of himself.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 8 points ago +9 / -1

Who made them look like bitches? Pool or Rogan?

People who have been extruded through the public education and university system are often blind to their own bullshit in a way that someone who has found success outside of that system is not. Tim also has quite a bit of experience in social engineering and adjacent skills that allow him to spot when others are pulling the same tricks.

Public education is a joke.

Pool has in the last month or so come out and said he is voting for Trump I'm 90% sure. I know he has been adamant that he will not vote for Biden.

25
sentient-potato 25 points ago +25 / -0

Pool is openly voting for Trump and has been saying so for a few weeks now.

20
Reddit_refuge3 20 points ago +20 / -0

Yeah but even tim who has said he lines up with more liberal politics is voting for Trump because of the insanity of the democrats. Barring the dems cheating (they will try) we will see a Trump landslide.

8
ChuckedBeef 8 points ago +11 / -3

Tim Pool is not a leftist by any stretch of the imagination. If you think he's a leftist you haven't been paying attention.

Lol didn’t know that, can’t bring myself to listen to his podcast, I’ll watch clips of his interviews on YouTube occasionally. Watching him try to interview Alex Jones, give up, and then have fun riling him up was hilarious.

No_Malarkey_Joe 0 points ago +1 / -1

He tried interviewing Alex Jones? Where did he do that? I'm trying to find the video and can't pull anything up.

Spez: Nevermind. For whatever reason I thought Tim Pool interviewed Alex Jones.

NazisWereSocialist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Interesting, I know Spotify pulled just about every episode of his podcast where he interviewed a conservative.

Are we seriously thinking that there will be any moderating? This won't last 4 hours. Trump will come in swinging, Rogan will start snickering, then Biden will be like c'mon, man, pee his pants, then storm out (at a Hillary pace) back to the basement. The goal is to have both in the same studio. No handlers, no promoters.

Please make it happen

ProdigalPlaneswalker 15 points ago +15 / -0

a good platform for open ended discussion.

Perfect for a nimble navigator.

8
omegapede 8 points ago +8 / -0

It really doesn't matter how the 'debate' is moderated anyway. As usual, it will be broken down and reconstituted into easily digestible talking points for the uninformed NPC masses by the MSM.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's interesting that some here see the majority as still believing MSM, while others are sure most are free from their spell. This is based on our own observations of who we see. I point out we have no valid gauge, and haven't even known true election results for a long time.

But yes, MSM will propagandize the debate into their pre-established talking points. I'm just amazed hidin Biden is pinned down for one

Rogan is 100% voting Trump. You must not listen to him.

17
NazisWereSocialist 17 points ago +24 / -7

I don’t, and I believe he’s voting Trump, but don’t you think he’s the kind of guy that would still vote for democrats on the local level?

He’s voting Trump because it’s becoming much harder to perform the mental gymnastics necessary to support the Democrats.

16
Djt2029 16 points ago +20 / -4

You don't listen to him, but somehow have determined who he will vote down ticket? Seems presumptive, no?

10
augustinius 10 points ago +12 / -2

Ehhhhh I think NWS is right. Rogan isn't actually an informed voter.

You’re right, I just feel like he’s a bit too apologetic for the damn commies, honestly I hope I’m dead wrong.

4
bonejack 4 points ago +4 / -0

Heard him say, while talking to Ron White, that he was just going to ask the locals how he should vote, so as not to fuck up what they have going. Of course he moved to Austin, so that won't help much...

6
NazisWereSocialist 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yikes, yeah in Austin he could “ask a local” and be handed the Antifa voter guide lol

2
theyrebothwrong 2 points ago +5 / -3

You are unfortunately not bright if you think this.

1
Djt2029 1 point ago +2 / -1

You unfortunately haven't heard him speak on Biden.

1
theyrebothwrong 1 point ago +1 / -0

Him speaking on Biden wouldn't change how he votes. Rogan is not as one-dimensional as he seems.

1
Former_RM2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think he's going to vote at all. It seems to me like he's pretty disgusted with the whole political process and just wants to make a shit load of money before everything comes crashing down.

1
27Sandino 1 point ago +1 / -0

Which podcast did he say he's voting Trump? I honestly thought he'd vote third party like last time to keep that special status.

2
Djt2029 2 points ago +2 / -0

My phrasing was incorrect, its not 100% nor has he said it. However, he's fully aware of corona BS and Biden's dementia and is moving from California.

Because at some point an event happens that wakes you up. It's happened to anyone who has been red pilled. Plenty of former Bernie ppl here. Do not shun those who took longer to get it.

As someone this happened to (but back in 2015/16 before the election) it was because I wasn’t really invested in politics and just listening to the news and what my friends were saying. I then one day had a good friend say “hey, watch Trump speak for yourself and you’ll realize that everyone is lying about him.”

I actually started watching Trump to prove him wrong and it totally flipped me instead. It’s so very easy to get caught up in the emotional rhetoric from the dem (especially Bernie) side, as it’s absolutely seductive because it offers answers to all of your problems and none of those involve things being your fault (other than the occasional virtue signal where you tell people you’re an awful person for existing). Once you realize how hollow the words are and how flippantly lies and aspersions were being tossed around, there’s no going back.

People who like Bernie fall into 3 categories. 1: people who like his policies. 2: people who want to use his movement to overthrow the establishment. 3: people who just see an old guy who genuinely wants to help poor people and are tired of dishonest politicians. Rogan fits into the third category, and once you start seeing Trump as more honest than the alternative choice, those people will jump ship.

Dude, tons of people that migrated to the_donald on reddit and now here were once Bernie voters that woke up.

There are literally tens of thousands of people that once supported Bernie that now are MAGA.

My buddy who his a huge Rogan fan, I’ve also noticed has recently started to get red pilled, he was never a leftist, but was far too cozy with that side of things, but it’s becoming impossible to ignore all of their, idk what, fucking communism? The atrocities they’ve been committing this year alone are difficult to sum up in a word.

Loiuzein 7 points ago +7 / -0

Communist, Marxism, treason, and sedition are all pretty good... At describing 2020

He's said people leaving California should leave their politics in California. Hes also said he's going to have Texans tell him how to vote because he wants to keep the good going that brought him there.
