He's still a lefty though, Biden is just a shit candidate. Tim still believes in socialized government programs, he just knows in this current position Trump is the better candidate for America

Which I at least respect he's able to see that, but it doesn't mean he's a conservative

The fact that he doesn’t agree with Trump on everything, but can still acknowledge some good things about him is very respectable. This type of non-extremist thinking is extremely rare among leftists.

If everyone had that baseline level of consideration, "I don't agree 100% with this person, but I can tolerate the differences for the sake of what we agree upon being more important for completing a task", that minimal level of human empathy, the world wouldn't have a Progressive Left.

Not as rare as you'd think, I'll eager. I think that as long as they aren't in blue hair or trans, there's a good chance they vote Trump.

In other words, as long as mental illness doesn't decide their choices for them.

"Socialized government programs" is an awfully broad category.

Conservatives believe in socialised government programmes.

There is no reason why, in a society which has reached the general level of wealth ours has, the first kind of security should not be guaranteed to all without endangering general freedom; that is: some minimum of food, shelter and clothing, sufficient to preserve health. Nor is there any reason why the state should not help to organize a comprehensive system of social insurance in providing for those common hazards of life against which few can make adequate provision.

Or don't you think Mrs Thatcher was Conservative enough?
