The President should now Legalize marijuana to really piss them off and get some of those on the fence voters over to his side.

I support your idea for Trump to remove marijuana from Schedule 1. However, I don't agree with your comparison of marijuana to cigarettes. Marijuana is more like alcohol in that it is mind altering while you are under its influence.

I would not trust someone operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana, but they can go ahead and smoke cigarettes for all I care.

Nicotine is mind altering in the sense that it causes dependence and addiction. So while not necessarily "under the influence" as usually considered, there is a broad definition of what would be considered mind altering, and nicotine could fit that description. Just fyi

Nicotine also provides a boost similar to caffeine for a short period.

But tbh, it would probably turn many away from him too. The baby boomer generation has been subjected to a good bit of propaganda on marijuana. A lot of them really think it’s some hardcore drug.

Weird, because around where I live all the boomers are now buying CBD crap from Kroger's for all their "problems."
