Fantasy football drafts used to be Christmas morning to me.

I still didn't watch one second of that shit yesterday.

I've been saying the same thing; if the NFL has lost me, they are in trouble.
I remember talking to a guy at a Christmas party a couple years ago (the year Kaperdick first pulled his stunt) about football and he shut the convo down saying he stopped watching entirely after Kaperdick.
I respected his decision, but was surprised by it, and couldn't imagine EVER going cold turkey like that, at the time. That was not THAT long ago.
I can tell you this much after only a single week without football, I think they did me a huge favor.
I can't imagine I'd have walked away without being given such a compelling reason.
When I look back at the amount of time I used to invest per week and compare it to how little I have to show for it today, I realize how much I've gained by walking away.
I don't care if I pick up whittling on the porch, at least I'll have some carved shit when I'm done with it and I haven't been contributing to multi-millionaire children telling me how horrible it is for them to live in my country. The NFL will never get another penny from me. Never.
I just need to find a laid back Sunday Gun Club or something. I wish I knew how to even start looking for such a thing. Not that I have tried really. Like I said, I am on week one here.
