How does that break down? $16B per game means the NFL makes exactly how much money per hour of active gameplay (11 minutes per game)?

Someone math for me.

$16B for the entire year.

So you figure if there are 32 teams that play each other therefore on average 16 games per week and 16 games per team that's 256 regular season games and then 11 playoff games (4,4,2,1) therefore 267 games. I won't bother with preseason nonsense. Therefore, 267 games x 11 minutes = 2,937 minutes of action per season. As such the NFL makes $5.45M per minute of game action in games that actually mean something.

Obviously the NFL has things like the draft, pro-bowl, plus merchandising and a whole other slew of things that make money, but yeah.
