Everyone needs to know this. Both UV (ultraviolet) and IR (infrared) radiation can damage the eyes and skin. The radiation is invisible.

The temperature checks at many workplaces use IR radiation lasers. This radiation is invisible and may damage your eyesight.

There are touchless scanners now that require you to line your eyes up to the IR scanner.
