It’s so sad what happened to churches, at least in the PNW. I went to candlelight service at a nearby Methodist church that I don’t attend last year and the pastor managed to make the story of Jesus being born about racists and homosexuality. They also had BLM in their reader bord over the summer. A non-denominational church is being built across from my office and I went to their Facebook page to check them out, first lost was the pastor in a video about racism.
I’ve pretty much given up on church for the time being.
It's posts like these that make me so thankful for mine. The pastor may not be the best, the church may not be the best, but at least they call out sin still. It hurts my heart that the church has, in so many areas of this great nation, become so feeble and so weak-willed.
No church is perfect, but the Methodist church I grew up in and most of the other churches I’ve visited around here in the past decade don’t even pretend to try. They were infiltrated and pushed and pushed and brainwashed a long time ago and they’re now just softer SJW hubs for hand-wringing white people willing to throw the Bible out for LGBTQ and BLM.
I have a huge catholic church nearby but they aren't holding service. Believe me, I am chomping at the bit to attend. I wish churches had balls. They don't currently have service. I can't respect the pastor for letting this shit stop him from leading his parishioners.
If you don't listen to the Pope then maybe you shouldn't be Catholic. The Pope is supposed to be the infallible messenger of God for the entire church. If you don't listen to the Pope then you're not a true Catholic, anyway.
Those three options I listed all offer the Traditional Latin Mass according to the 1962 missal, prior to the atrocities of Vatican II. They will all adhere strictly to Catholic social teachings. For instance, my FSSP priest doesn't go a week without mentioning something pro-life and he regularly warns against communist infiltration of the church. Just be a bit careful with the SSPX, their sacraments are technically valid but illicit since they aren't quite in full communion with the Church yet.
I haven’t seen many Catholic Churches maintaining themselves as a center of the community. The churches doing well have made an effort to get people congregating. Social media has created a huge opportunity for churches to offer in person community that aspires to a strong moral code.
They aren't in church. That's very well known. Maybe they were in 1988, but not anymore. I've been to many Evangelical churches throughout central Florida, including huge churches, and there's no single women there under the age of 40, just a smattering of single moms looking for a simp to take care of them. I gave up ten years ago, but I've heard reports from other single men that it hasn't gotten any better. Today's young single women aren't exactly known for their strong Christian values.
Plenty of churches in big cities with young single women who desire a more wholesome lifestyle. Young women who move to big cities after school and want a community that doesn’t revolve around racking up notches on the bedpost from internet strangers.
But...but...that's how it was back in 1962. Women are exactly the same way they were back then: good and godly and all sitting alone at church, waiting for a good man to marry them. They all have such a wholesome lifestyle. I can keep trying to tell my grandsons this, but they won't listen.
Don't forget church. Many churches have been infiltrated and subverted but there a few good ones out there.
yall come on down to oregon city then. based and just a short jaunt down the freeway. Gresham is also pretty based.

Really? How's that?
He you know - destroys cities because of it.
Being openly gay is just sexual degeneracy + ego.

Sorry to say but Catholic churches are not going to be the best place to look.
The Pope has declared that Left wing policies will now drive the Catholic church.
Agree. You might want to check out a few churches other than the Catholic.
Sadly, the pope is a cuck and it has filtered down.
Many Catholics don’t like the pope.
Can confirm. I'm Catholic and the current pope is working for the wrong side.

Just saying.
Lavender Mafia and Marxist Jesuits run the Catholic Church, sorry to say.
Look for an FSSP, ICK, or SSPX traditional Catholic Church!
I'll do that. That local church is pretty big. I hadn't thought about affiliations.

The pastor doesn't make the call, it's the bishop. Pastor has to pretend to like it.
thank you for setting me straight.

What Catholic Church are you calling them pastors?
Try to find a traditional mass

The “just find a woman at church” meme needs to stop yesterday.

+1 for church, found my excellent bride of 20+ years at a church. She is based AF.
