This morning was my 6 year old daughters first day of "Virtual" 1st grade. Last year, in kindergarten, I use to say, every day, "whats Daddy's rules?" she would answer, "Be kind, Be a leader, and always try your best". I must of changed some rules over the summer because when I asked her this morning about the rules she responded "Never let teachers tell you how to think or feel"....... My right eye slowly filled with water.

Ya'll happen to be using Canvas and ZOOM? We in TX have been using it going on 4-5 weeks now and it is a HUGE PITA. Fortunately they let all the kids return last week but I gotta keep mine home for legitimate reasons.

We use “Virtual Classroom”. The kids that attend are doing every other day. We decided to just go full virtual which I’m glad I did, since I heard from my neighbor that first nights home work was to write “my mask makes me feel safe” 5 times.

Fortunately I live in BasedVille, TX... even the teachers are on board w/ the "Masks are Fucking Stupid" platform.
