The Los Angeles weather forecasts for Labor Day weekend were FAKE NEWS. Temps barely hit 100. Leftists in media trying to subdue Labor Day celebrations.
Dude. I live in LA. It was 116 here. I moved to a new apt and didn’t have ac for Labor Day weekend. You are fake news. It was the hottest weather I’ve ever felt anywhere, ever.
Sad to say, I agree. California used to be wonderful. During the glorious two decades between '68 and '90 when it was solidly red, it was THE place to be. It started going downhill at the same time it became a blue fortress state, thanks to mass illegal immigration and Democrat-fomenting race war. The state has slowly rotted ever since.
I always hear that Cali is “temperate” all year, but that’s hot as fuck. Everyone complains about the heat and humidity here in South Carolina, but it never gets that hot.
Yep, same. It was fucking hot but it gets hot every year. It honestly feels like it's been a cooler summer than usual. I'd have to check but it seems like, aside from that one weekend, it's been relatively mild.
calipede here, I've also thought it's been relatively mild but thats because it's actually so hot you don't even feel the heat anymore you just get a headache
can't even imagine what it must be like for the sadists that live in the proper desert like fucking palm springs
Did you hear Newsom's "climate expert" sound the alarm on LA hitting 120 degrees? Old timer alert..it was 118 in Arcadia when I was in high school in the 60's!
There’s a group of ‘historians’ (not even scientists) who have been trying to get the 134° F Death Valley record (from 1913) invalidated. The argument? It’s ‘essentially not possible from a meteorological perspective’. Since when does perspective invalidate recorded data?
Hell it was like 120 something in Seymour, Texas in the 1930’s. It hits 115 in my town almost every year. Had 100 straight days off 100 degree heat in 2011. Second hottest portion of the US after Death Valley.

You poor soul..... Not the temp part, but the living in LA part.
Nobody should have to live in a rotten asshole! Nobody!
If CA wasn’t so cucked I’d move there in a heartbeat. Such a gorgeous state that they ruined.

Confirm 115° and we think they lied and it was actually 120. It was 108 after dark at night.

No hottest months are Aug-Oct! If you’re not at the beach.
Yes. How hot was it?
I thought my refrigerator was broken. My butter was melting.
No way

Yup. It was only that sizzling hot for that weekend.
Ha! If you think 116 is bad you’re going to love living in LA

It was hot but it’s definitely been hotter.

I bet that part of Texas has horrible humidity too.
I'm not far away from there. Was in mid upper 70s maybe 1 day in 80s. But smokey haze made it feel like I was chain smoking cigs.
