I'm all for helping, IF we're acknowledging the real problems instead of just trying to always blame outside sources.
Black people are not doomed to failure, and in fact were thriving in the middle class before democrats pushed welfare in their communities.
It's time to stop the soft bigotry of low expectations, and stop blaming everyone else instead of looking inward.

That is, most young children who act out and who join gangs are neglected and abused. So, they began teaching juvenile offenders the basics of emotional intelligence, the use of words instead of fists. Some places call this mentoring.
San Diego is a city with a Republican mayor in a Democrat state. It does not have the rioting problems of Oakland, Portland, and New York.

The answer is the welfare state. When LBJ instituted the welfare state, he knew it would destroy the black families and he knew it would make them dependent on the government for their survival.
Prior to that, the black community was strong, crime was low and black children grew up in two parent homes.
I don't know how we get back to that without making millions of state dependent poor blacks into destitute and desperate revolutionaries, but we really need to start thinking about it.
Why? Because 77% grow up in fatherless households. I just saved Harvard and the judge a bunch of time and money.

People on the left love to blame "systemic racism" "white privilege" and conservative social policies for all of black people's problems.
Conservatives love to blame "white liberals" like LBJ for all black people's problems, (this is usually accompanied by a Malcom X quote about withe liberals tricking negros).
The reality is that no one will care more about the success or failure of black people than black people and it seems like everybody is afraid of saying "if you're in the United States, the only person you have to blame for your failure is yourself". Not white people, not the system, yourself.

Let me guess.....the Harvard panel doing the study will find that the Police are racist, the Prosecutors and Defense Attorneys are racist, the Judges are racist, all jury members are racist and everyone that works in the prison system is racist.
There are more White people in jail. They are in jail for breaking the law usually repeatedly.

LBJ used his position of power to entrap black people into voter plantations, using welfare as bait.
Democrats and their policies caused and continue to cause disaster for black Americans.
