yes, or legislature, someone with oversight. and also after every 14 day period. All local laws that give local officials absolute power just by declaring an emergency should be declared unconstitutional

I said the exact same thing. The governors emergency power order should be only good for two weeks, if a judge says they are constitutional. To extend beyond the two week timeframe it should be up to the legislature to approve any extensions or changes in 15 day increments. And to avoid Democrat governors simply re-issuing them, if a judge deems it unconstitutional, or the legislature refuses to renew it for another 15 days said governor would be prohibited from issuing another emergency order on the same subject for at least 60 to 90 days.
