The Presidential Party normally gets trounced in mid-term elections as the opposition party is activated by being out of power. The Presidential Party gains as the party in power comes out to vote for the incumbent. That is just the normal state of American politics. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Republicans regain the House and expand their edge in the Senate.

Please be right. The Republicans in congress suck too, but they don't suck as much.

It's often a referendum on the economy, and the economy is roaring back from the totally useless lockdown(s). Nobody is exactly stoked about the mob rule the Democrats are allowing to happen either.

Remember to vote locally, too.

Normally yes, but we're treading new waters with this mail-in fraud. Why is this being allowed again?

If it comes to a House vote each State only gets two votes. With that format Republicans hold a decent edge. To understand why, a good example is that CA has like 53 House members. So for just that State, Democrats would lose 51 votes. 🤣 They only have a 32 vote edge in the total house members.

It says each state only gets one vote.

My mistake 👍 But Republican edge remains for same reason.

I completely agree with you, but...

I remember when we voted in Tea Party candidates and the Republican establishment totally neutered them and fucked them over. I fear that if it happens again then we may never see another Republican congress. I'm a Conservative first, and a Republican 2nd. They need to learn how to win from Trump. He has shown them the way.
