My dad warned me about pretty much exactly what we are seeing today, and I thought he was being silly or archaic and old fashioned. It took a long time and some serious reality checks to see that I was one of the frogs in the slowly boiling pot. (Raised with a little homeschool first, dad was a pastor, dabbled in liberalism for a decade before the 2016 election and what I consider my personal redemption and return to my roots)
While I no longer call myself Christian, I do still believe in ultimate good and evil, and we are in the midst of The Spiritual battle of our kind. Gotta be honest I’ve been struggling with my faith and the signs of the times. Can’t help but get those Revelations gut feelings about the end, the seven years tribulation, peace in the Middle East, sons and fathers turning against each other... definitely has me doing some soul searching.
