Eh, I'd be fine with a third gender as a catch all for all the weird genetic disorders like XX male, XY female, XXY, etc.
Yeah, it's less than 5% of the population (and prolly is less than 1% truth be told), but for those people that just lost the genetic lottery we should reasonably accommodate them because they did nothing wrong.
However, that doesn't include all the idiots that transition because they are XX female or XY male and have deluded themselves into thinking they are the other gender - and all the perverts that support that dumbfuckery.
Well it's following the logic of "inaction is still action" which basically translates into "no gender is still a gender", and as we already have gender neutral pronouns, it's more formalizing the edge case as the English language already supports it. So there's not really a change beyond acknowledging the edge case as everyone still largely fits into the male or female buckets.
That said, all the pronouns that haven't been around for more than a decade is part of the dumbfuckery I'm referring to.
