I was on base in Pearl Harbor with a great buddy of mine, and we wanted to go into H city to get dinner (we were off duty that weekend). A shipmate from my buddy's boat he'd give us a ride, but that he's picking up his girlfriend, who is a hardcore vegetarian (vegan, most likely), so we shouldn't mention going out to eat meat in her presence. My buddy and exchanged a look and said "ok" at the same time. We get in the back seat, and were on our way.
When we pick her up, he explains he's dropping us off in town. He then turned to ask us where we wanted to go.
Buddy: "A steakhouse, maybe a place to get some bar-b-que ribs, how about you?"
Me: "I don't care, so long as it involves a dead animal."
This one is a no-shitter.
