I remember reading an article a few weeks ago, where the person said that people will use expressions like "that's your truth" to downplay objective truth when it gets in the way of their self-interest (the article was mainly focused on how that thinking is used to justify abortion), but nobody says that the truth is relative when it comes to driving with your eyes closed when it's their own safety that is at risk.
