Harvey Milk is a leftist gay icon. He had a young underage boy live with him for an extended period of time. MILK was a movie that I assume celebrated the gay icon's life. Remember this is the party that wants to erase history if there is any misdeed involved.
About 3 years ago I lived in an area that only received NPR on the radio. No internet or anything. So I used to listen. They were celebrating Milk and the whole child rapist part was mentioned at the very end, and they said something nonchalant like "some people have found issues with parts of Milk's personal life".
I'd guess many were abused/groomed/preyed upon by older men themselves when they were younger and just continue the cycle of abusing/grooming/preying on young boys. That and/or their are just evil pieces of shit.
I wish I could find it, may have been scrubbed, but there was a study done that dealt with adult homosexual males and homosexual females and the rates at which they were sexually abused as children or young adults were straggling higher than heterosexual males and females.
