And in exchange for lower hourly rates I always ask for a percentage of profits.
Per project it sometimes work out, sometimes doesn't. But as a whole, plus my savings, I could comfortably go a year without working if I wanted to. Or I could work freelance sporadically through the year and work half as much and since I'm single still live comfortably. But I like the benefits and working in an office.
We're going to have to ask you to volunteer that time. Take one for the team. The overtime budget has been repurposed to supply fuel for the helicopters.
