The way I see it.....the administration showed THEIR OWN political motivation in banning the flags to begin with! THAT is where the problem lies! Ordinarily, I am a stickler for obeying the rules....and if not, suffering consequences, BUT, if the boys had political motivations with the intent to cause discord, they would NOT have asked permission first, but would have just done it! The very fact that they asked permission proves that this was not the case....but they instead assumed that the administration surely consisted of decent, reasonable human beings who couldn’t possibly object to them honoring the policemen and firemen who lost their lives. Guess they were wrong!
