I am willing to bet that Scientific American has become loaded up with teenage Journalism School grads with nose-rings and blue hair - for whom SA is just a career stop between gigs at Buzzfeed and Huffpost.
Maybe they have a few real scientists on their editorial board who are heavily dependent on sucking the dicks of the woke academic community and/or getting global warming research loot from woke governmental agencies.
