Reading your comment kind of makes me wish they put the bail at something like 150k. It will either show those arrested how much their donors really care (“I’m not work $150k?!”) or bankrupt the donors.
They have enough to keep this going for a very long time. Will be hard to bankrupt them.
Although if we give God a couple more months he might just take care of our China problem for us, considering the way things are going over there right now.
I don’t care about the donors losing money from their endless piles of cash. I care about the damage that would be caused to communities before that happened. Even if it was dollar for dollar, I’d rattle the local business keep their livelihood in tact even if it means these shady bail funds don’t go dry. So effective no bail or even delayed bail is fine by me.
Kind of says the unrest was being driven by catch & release.
