It was a no knock warrant so they would've been inside before the shooting started
I'm glad the no knock warrant is being put under scrutiny because of this, because a policy like that could be weaponized against patriots if the wrong guy got in
I think they knew a black person was living there, so, they just said "Let's go hunting." That's how they do it, isn't it? I can't think of another way that a black person could get shot by a cop.
Another good link from our local newspaper 'Clearly, I was scared': Newly released police interviews shed light on Breonna Taylor case This whole case is a massive clusterfuck (source: we live just south of Louisville, our hometown) We're on our second police chief since JUNE (first one was set to retire end of June, got FIRED the day after a shootout between cops/National Guard and patrons at a local black owned bbq, owner died in the crossfire, no LE had their bodycams on. Interim chief announced ON LABOR DAY that he was stepping down at the beginning of Oct. Incoming interim chief, far as I know, is NOT interested in taking over permanently. Not that I blame her cause damn)
Comments on social media posts regarding this settlement, still seeing a LOT of calls for the cops involved in this case to be arrested. If that doesn't happen, I fully expect my hometown to burn. Our idiot Dem city mayor and idiot Dem state gov have allowed these protests to drag on with no end in sight. So over it all tbh.
So what really happened? It's difficult to find reporting on that that isn't the normal narrative. Anyone have a source?
+1 on a source. I was under the impression that it was not known who shot first.
Usually cops dont shoot through doors unprovoked but hey who knows

They actually knocked in this case, but I agree and support Rand Pauls effort to end noknocks
from the jail phone calls the main suspect in their investigation said the bf shot through the door after the police were banging on it. they aren't required to knock but oftentimes still do just before entering. https://www.mikethecop.tv/the-breonna-taylor-media-narrative-crumbling-under-facts/
The police knocked on the doors. Breanna Taylor also shot at the cops before getting shot.

I'd like to see a source as well. Don't wanna roll the normies without something to back it up.

The boyfriend literally admitted to firing first.
