Finally dealing with them how they should be dealt with. There would be no riots right now if cities had responded this way immediately 90 days ago!

But we all know that they actually wanted those riots.

What really infuriates me is all the people who know they don't work but wear them out of fear of being harassed.

Wow a 20% downvote ratio? I didn't know we had so many mask cucks on this site.

When you live in a commie state like michigan, you get to look at all of the "no mask no service" signs. Fuck Whitmer. Thankfully the unlock Michigan petition train is racing by with no brakes.

Those signs are up in the stores around my area too. I still go inside without a mask and get served though.

7

Same in Lancaster,PA. I will in medical buildings cause sick people. But I haven't for a while. I do limit going anywhere unless necessary. I also will in some places Like small businesses that are struggling and Wolf has them so afraid they'll be shut down. But box boxes and others, nope. I don't get bothers either. I say I have medical concerns. Granted they have nothing to do preventing me from wearing one. Plus I have a prosthetic leg so it deters people. But winter is coming and pant will be worn so well see what that does. Fucking ridiculous. Hate seeing kids with masks. Drives me crazy. I tell my kids this isn't normal every day.

2
America1stAndOnly 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've seen way too many pictures of what schools are doing to kids during all this. They're all basically being forced into solitary confinement at school. This will mess those kids up, but that's pretty typical of public schools.

I don't believe masks work...

So regardless of weather I wear a mask or not, I do not go into stores or other places where you need to be close to people.

Back in the day, some of the more outre or raunchy businesses liked to post signs that read, "No shirt, no shoes, no problem".

I'm in Los Angeles county where literally everyone is wearing a mask at the store. I don't. I have one other buddy who is brave enough to not wear it either. If you resist enough they don't fight you. (The management and staff) just be polite. I don't ever swear or yell. I kill them with kindness. I did threaten another man physically. But that's because he cut in the line and said "Where's your mask!" When I said "excuse me sir there's a line" I told him if he didnt get behind us in line I was going to knock his mask off his face.

In oregon, an arsonist was caught red handed and was given a $250 bond...

8
Sticky 8 points ago +11 / -3

Fires can cross state lines how does this make any sense?

16
Rawnold_Reagan 16 points ago +16 / -0

I'm thinking they are pointing out the absurdity. Basically these state govs have to be complicit and are destroying us by giving a person who set fires in a very dry wildfire prone area and probably caused millions in damages and just basically letting them go.

10
MouthAgapeForBLMJizz 10 points ago +10 / -0

He’s pointing out the absurdity of a dude literally caught committing large scale arson only being arrested for like an hour and a $250 bond.

Another arson was arrested and released within hours then literally set SIX more fires the same day.

4

Having already destroyed the argument that the police can protect you, BLM-ANTIFA now sets its sights on destroying its own bail reform movement agenda.

12
zhalias 12 points ago +12 / -0

That reminds me of when I still fell for the MSM narratives, or rather one of the last ones I fell for. It was some "kids" arrested for "tossing rocks" at passing cars. The article made it seem like it was a bunch of 9 year olds throwing pebbles.

Then some independent journalist, don't remember which one, actually goes to the scene and takes a video showing the area, and the "small rocks" being thrown. Turns out, the group of "kids" were all 16 and 17, and the "pebbles" were the size of my head being thrown off an overpass as cars passed underneath it.

They ended up killing someone, and the MSM were basically trying to play it off like it was some horrible tragic accident and they shouldn't be punished for it, even though they did it on purpose and knew what could happen. That was one of the last narratives I fell for, or almost fell for since I ended up realizing what really went down.

6
Long_time_lurker 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yup. The sad thing is that the news is rewarded for making things out to be more interesting than they really are and they've figured out that slamming the outrage button gets them the most clicks.

So they pull BS like this continually and then piss and moan about the fact that we don't trust them as gatekeepers of truth any more. Not that we ever should've, because man, once you read more history you realize that the Pulitzer prize is named after one of two people who were both pioneers of yellow journalism who had a feud with each other.

It kinda says a lot when their top prize is named after someone printing lies about people for money...

I doubt they will bail them out. It’s cheaper to bus more in, but no one with any sense will come if there is actual jail involved.

You have to also consider that bailing out these people at this sum is quite costly. They will likely do something to warrant bail forfeiture. I suspect if they do make bail it would be with the clause of no more weapons, protests or some other similar condition.

These people are not risk free they are simply cheap.

Portland could end the riots tomorrow with some common sense.

81
Eowyn_Rohan 81 points ago +82 / -1

I think the Portland riots have calmed down a bit since the rioters left to start fires all over the West.

31
0io- 31 points ago +33 / -2

"Hey! Out here in the middle of the forest no one shouts at me with 19 warnings before they arrest me! It's a lot easier to set a fire here! Nobody is live streaming my face!" t. Antifa

Unfortunately it's a smarter tactic for them, and now Gavin Newsom is claiming that the fires they start are "scientific proof" of "climate change" making the fires all Trump's fault.

22
Eowyn_Rohan 22 points ago +24 / -2

I hate them so much. My only hope is that maybe their murderous arsons will turn WA, OR, or CA red.

11
0io- 11 points ago +12 / -1

It would be nice if one of them burned himself half to death without starting a major fire, got rescued, and then decided to testify against his paymasters. It's frustrating that the FBI is basically closing their eyes and saying "we can't see anything".

They still have to hide the fact that Ballsack-Eyes is funding all the chaos and bail. Lot easier to make a few thousands untraceable compared to $1M. Then again, at that price these idiots are probably not worth it and they are just gonna let them rot.

3
thisisatestof2 3 points ago +3 / -0

800k-1.2mil is a lot for some low level idiots over a clearly justified shooting. They may just let them rot, we shall see.

I doubt a bail bondsman will take the risk and they likely don’t own anything to use as collateral.

These rioters don’t tend to be part of the community since they are so willing to burn it down.

You typically only need 10% to bail out. so $100k in this case.

Hopefully everyone they did charge, was actually rioting and the charges stick. That said, even if they weren't, clearly this was an effective method for shutting down the riot, and they can always drop or lessen charges later.

10

I lived in Lancaster for over twenty years. My father was a Republican politician for several terms there, he headed many charitable organizations as well as the city's chamber of commerce for a time, and spearheaded many projects including the construction of libraries, parks, and memorials. When I saw the protests livestreamed on YouTube, via "unspecified podcast & review," I was unfortunately glad he had passed a few years ago as those events would have left him utterly heartbroken. I'm happy I didn't have to wait long to see justice from a place that actually does appreciate law and order.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very glad these scumbags are getting arrested and not let go.

But a couple questions:

Why do we even allow bail for observably violent detainees?

Also, does bail as an incentive to not skip town lest your money be used to pay a bounty hunter to drag your ass back even make sense anymore in the modern world where anyone can just instantly wire money to anyone else around the world?

Imagine if, for instance, Red China, started paying Anti-American/pro-China criminals to take disruptive actions and then wired them bail money through shell orgs.

I'm not saying I have a definitive solution (and no, I'm certainly not for just letting them go, look how disastrous that "experiment" was in NY), just the way it is right now overall doesn't seem to make much sense.

1
PanderjitSingh 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bail is completely inappropriate for people who are transients associated with an international criminal organization. They must be among the most likely to go into hiding and not come to court.

Even having a charity pay bail is completely inappropriate and an abuse of the bail system. The whole point is to ensure people show up for court by making them put something at risk.
