Yup. The sad thing is that the news is rewarded for making things out to be more interesting than they really are and they've figured out that slamming the outrage button gets them the most clicks.

So they pull BS like this continually and then piss and moan about the fact that we don't trust them as gatekeepers of truth any more. Not that we ever should've, because man, once you read more history you realize that the Pulitzer prize is named after one of two people who were both pioneers of yellow journalism who had a feud with each other.

It kinda says a lot when their top prize is named after someone printing lies about people for money...
