No-one has ever contacted me so I'm wondering who are these people who they're polling &&& I'm registered as independent.
No. I got polled (local candidates) and said I hadn't completed my research. True by the way. Pollster gave me where they went to college and in one case who the guy's grandmother* was. How is ANY of this relevant to their political stance. I finally hung up. How can you answer idiots like that?
I got polled by what I perceived was a left leaning organization. I lied.

I get between 5-15 spam calls a day on my mobile. I only answer calls from my contacts.

A few years ago I agreed to answer some poll questions over the phone, from an organization I've never heard of before or since, and looking back on it, I'm almost 100% convinced it was a scam call because I was inundated with spam calls for months afterwards.
I’m on some list somewhere. I get calls from Peru, Palau and all different states. Fewer of them than 4 months ago. Most are still from my area code and 3 digit prefix.
Lately I've been getting spam calls from some woman speaking Chinese. They leave a voicemail every time.

100% of calls I get from numbers who aren’t my contacts are just empty / silent calls. It’s annoying. It’s always a new number all the time. I probably have 100 blocked numbers now, and it does nothing because they just have more. I don’t even understand the purpose.
Autodialers. Either the system is slow transferring, or the internal call group is all busy.
But... but, if you don't answer the spam calls how are you going to lower your credit card debt? Or renew your auto warranty? Heck man! You need solar to save the earth! Reeeeee 😅😂😂
My impression is that most poll calls go to dedicated land lines, which most people don't seem to have any more.

I have gotten polled before...on land line phone which I still have. The question is asked who will you vote for for President, then they ask you 5 different ways if you are actually going to show up to vote.
I actually got texted a poll for my local county, FIRST TIME! 2 Candidates, for one they ALWAYS told me something "bad" about the candidate and asked "Would that make you vote for this person?" and for the other candidate they ALWAYS told me something "good" about them and asked "Would that make you vote for this person?"
For reference I am in Will county Illinois, the candidates were for State Rep. Tim Ozinga (R of course) was the person the poll ONLY stated bad things about. The (D) candidate ONLY good things were mentioned.
Obviously biased poll was obvious.

I have my phone set to send calls from numbers not in my contacts directly to voicemail. However, one day last week I took my car into the shop and they were going to call me when it was ready so I disabled that option for the day. During that time I got a call from a pollster and I said I was voting for Biden just to fuck up their poll. That’s the first and only time I ever talked to a pollster. The next poll you see from PA, just know that there at least one vote in the poll that is fake haha!
I get them all the time (long story) but my sibling singed me up as a Democrat and I get called all the time as I am also a monority
During this whole campaign season I have only been contacted through text by Bernie supporters or his and Biden supporters or his campaign. I try to fuck with them but they never respond, I must be a little too direct with my first fuck off
I get polled but I live in the bluest area of the country. None of my family from other areas across the country get polled. So even if they do poll 10,000 people completely randomly by text like I have gotten before, its in a heavily skewed area. The truth is, no poll can accurately predict what a vote with a turnout of over 100 million will say.
Got a polling call once a few months ago. As soon as they realized I was "right-leaning", they hung up on me. Lol
I never have, and have pondered the same thing for a long time. Then about a month ago my wife gets a call, she immediately tells them to take her number off their list and never call her again. I look at her and say, "we've always wondered about those, and that was our chance to troll and tell them we are huge Biden supporters!" She shrugs and kissed me.
I got a bunch. I answered them all. I had the pollster laughing at her own questions. They were worded so slickly.
Probably missed the call while I waste the extended car warranty guy's time. If you want to play, too, just tell them "I'm tracing the call and it'll be done in a moment." Hearing the fear in their voice makes it all worth it, even moreso if you ask just the right push question and get them to hang up on you.
I think I got a text for one once. I ignored it. Fuck em. None of that shit matters. Voting is the only thing that matters.

I think I got called over the weekend about a survey and it started with my level of education. It came off like a scam. I said no thanks. Polls are bullshit anyway.

I've been polled more this year than in years past. Live in Florida amd always tell them in a democrat and voting for Sleepy Joe. These calls would be comedy gold

I got an automated call the other night for our Congressional Rep race.
Maybe my spam catcher blocks everything, but I never get polled. The random political fundraising call will sneak through occasionally, but never anything interesting like a poll or Biden campaign worker.
