yep.

Tuck: "I can tell by your manner that you are from New York"

Mongoloid: "Is it my accent?"

Tuck: "Its everything about you"

Tucker felt sorry for him and insulted him at the same time with it going right over his head.

People from NYC don't understand that everyone else thinks they are a punchline. Listen to Cuomo, he says things like, "we have the best health care system in the world" unironically. Everyone else is like, "you've never been outside of NY have you?"

Same with CA. People from California move to other places, and are worse than vegans about preaching about where they're from. We're all, "being from 'Cali' doesn't make you cool, it means you're retarded."

I'm from Arkansas, a solid Red state in the last election. California still has more Republican voters than the entire population of my state, and many other states.

Same dude. Just completed my family's exodus from that shithole. You can bet that I keep my mouth shut about where I'm from.

Im still stuck for a few more years unless the good lord blesses us with more mobile jobs. I work in construction. My wife is a trainer for a health provider. Ill give em hell for you. No matter what I am out even if this place goes red. Need different and less people.

Move to Oregon. We need more good people here 😊

Being from California does imply you were smart enough to get out. Which is damning with faint praise.

I spent roughly 11 hours in NYC once. On the bus there were 4 conversations within arms reach of me that consisted of both parties proclaiming "New York is the best city on Earth." If you have to keep reminding yourself, it is less an endorsement and more a confirmation of Stockholm Syndrome.

Let not forget DC. I was traveling greyhound to my A school in Georgia. Outside the terminal in full alphas smoking a cigarette. Bunch of people there, but somehow this crack dealer looks at the guy in full military uniform and thinks, "This is where I make my big sale". I did get a good laugh out of it, only time I was ever approached for a crack sale was in DC. It all makes sense now.

Remember that Trump is from New York, frendo.

Yes, but to paraphrase the Texas bumper stickers, he left there as soon as he could.

New york is a great place for the rich

Literally because of Trump. New York was quite a shithole before Trump revitalized it.

Very few people from NYC give a fuck what the rest of the country thinks. The reverse, however, does not appear to be true. People just can't stop talking about good ol' NYC.

Fucking absolutely. Had a friend from California. He'd start going on and on about how much better shit there was, and I'd just interrupt him quoting American Tail: "and the streets are made of us cheese?"

I was always disappointed he never picked up the reference.

It didn't go over his head at all, you can tell from his classic New York answer "get the hell outta here", which threw Tucker for a second until he realized the guy was bantering.

I could barely understand what this guy was even saying half the time.
