Most (if not all) states do not allow you to point your firearm out of your window at people on the sidewalk unless you can demonstrate a clear and present immediate danger to your life.

20+ people on the edge of your property yelling threats like they did is a clear, present, and immediate danger.

They are committing terrorism. I don't give a shit if this guy was a skinhead registered member of the Nazi party. To do that to him is terrorism and he has a right to defend himself.

Apparently he does not, judging from his arrest. I agree with you. This was menacing, disturbing the peace, targeted harassment, and yes, terrorism, but the guy brandishing his gun to address the force disparity? OMG, call the cops!

I do not say this lightly: I would not have allowed myself to be arrested in that situation.

Our country is premised on the idea that our rights come from God, and when a government becomes destructive to those rights, it's our duty to abolish that government. So his arrest is not indicative of the validity of his rights.

Well, that would be up to a court to decide. I'm not saying I agree he should be charged. I'm just trying to present the argument that he will be ultimately faced with as a result of his actions.
