Kevin McCarthy said he fully supports investigating people who knowingly lied during the fake Russian scandal. He's also recently supported using terrorist & gang legislation to investigate antifa. And he is a HUGE proponent of reducing illegal immigration to 0 even including temporary protected services & ICE. He was interviewed on MSNBC recently about the Trump administration forcing temporary protected service immigrants to move back home after 20 years. Some of the people moved in the 80s and 90s because of natural disasters. McCarthy said like a champ that the Democrats need to look up the real definition of temporary.

This dude is a RINO and has been forever. He was Paul Ryan's #2 FFS. Jim Jordan is the obvious choice for Speaker.

Don't worry guys. It will be different this time.

I don't think he's a RINO. He voted against almost all of Obama's stimulus & healthcare bills whereas Paul Ryan did not.

I accept that you are sincere but suspect you may have been watching for just the last few years. I'll allow that McCarthy has disguised himself well recently but if you take a look at his life before 2018, you'll see what he really is.

As Mark Levin put it, "Kevin McCarthy occupies the business wing of the Republican Party shared by other politicians like Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, and Jeff Flake. All seem to think that increasing corporate profits through large-scale immigration and globalist trade pacts like Obamatrade are more important than prioritizing the wages of Americans or preserving America’s cultural identity as a Western nation."

As Trump himself put it, “I would like to see someone that’s very tough and that can negotiate with the Democrats, and I don’t know that he’s that person,” explained Trump. “We need somebody that’s a very, very tough, smart, cunning person. I don’t know that that’s him, and obviously this statement hurt him pretty badly in the eyes of some, unfortunately.”

I had to suffer through Boehner and then we managed to avoid McCarthy because he was banging other married colleagues(not sure why that's not still a problem) only to get Ryan. Don't do this to us, man. Please look at McCarthy prior to his last two years of good behavior. He's a fucking RINO snake.

uh huh

I'm happy to see him campaigning for the position since that indicates we may actually take the house back. On the other hand, there's this:

“I think John Kasich would be an excellent president. I think he would be — on paper, he seems like the very best," McCarthy remarked, noting that he has always believed that being a governor is a "better training ground" for president than anything else.

I looked up the context of that 2016 February quote. In that same interview he says multiple times that Trump is most likely going to win the nomination & he has no problem with the notion. He compliments all the Republican candidates so I think he's just ensuring he doesn't give the media a negative remark
