Let's say someone is an enemy of Trump (and so an enemy of this website). If they post "Trump sucks", then they get deleted/removed/blocked. But if they post a bunch of tangential posts, not really pro-Trump, not really related to anything... then you get a BUNCH of posts of little value... which then cover or make it hard to find the REAL valuable posts. It's sort of like spamming, but a bit different. End result is this website becomes less worthwhile, which lowers viewership and/or makes it hard to find the good/real information.
Knew there had to be a term for it. Thanks for the link. There sure are plenty of users on this board doing such things. Not sure why it's allowed to go on.
