I’m hoping they go bankrupt so bad that the Feds have to step in and say enough we’re breaking the state up. It’s way to big to be a state anymore. It’s time it’s broken into at minimum two states preferably 4
Not a good plan. If they break up, they will have more representation in Congress. It's bad enough as it is.
Plus, methinks it's another authority they will bow to -- the UN. Almost every major city in the US signed on individually to the Agenda 21 Pact. Except once they break it up, the massive pile of Democrats in one small place won't control the whole thing anymore. California is pretty red outside of the Democrat strongholds.

That's good to know. Always been my fear that if they break it up it would be like hitting a pool of mercury with a hammer. Tons of little mercury pools form just as toxic as the big one.
But - now that they got a first hand taste of Communism, maybe they are waking up all over the state. Time to stop it. If you want to know how California happened, spend some time looking up the Legislative Law Revision Commission. It was started in the good ol' 1970's. Filled up with socialists, communists and probably a few MKUltra'd C_A goons. They took what was a really good state with sensible laws and turned it on its head.

This would be great. I would welcome breaking up Utah too, granted the population likely does not warrant it.

Not religious lines at all. Break up into 2 or 3 states to give 2-4 more conservative senators to congress.
Same reason that Dems want DC & Puerto Rico to become states.
