I was paleo for 10 years then keto for 3 then carnivore on and off for 6 months at a time... until I got pregnant, then I became murderously hungry for beans and sweet potatoes. I went moderate carb for the first trimester and it fucked up my digestion but my cravings went away and the baby body was happy. Second trimester I'm back to low carb and now we're both happy (my digestion and this ethereal thing that is pregnancy cravings.)
The lady body is a mysterious machine.
Side note to other lady pedes, ancestral nutrition makes liver pills and bone marrow pills which are great when you're morning sick and can hardly stomach anything let alone strong flavors like beef liver.
This sounds like my wife. She was carnivore, got pregnant, had meat aversion for months. It finally went away and she spent her last 4-5 months carnivore and feeling great. She also had those supplements you described, specifically those liver pills.
Exactly what happened to me, the only meat I could eat was the occasional 5 bites of ribeye and even that was kind of a battle. Happy to report everything except ground beef is back on the table (The smell grosses me out still). Two of my keto girlfriends had the same experience.
It must be a 'thing' congrats to you and your wife!
