Look, it's not my fault that the greatest music on Earth was created mostly by Germanic people (Haydn, Bach, Schumann, Brahms, Strauss Sr. and Jr., Schubert, Wagner, Bruckner etc.) and that's not even counting Beethoven. Plus there are greats from all across Europe from the Polish Chopin to the English Thomas Tallis to the Italian Rossini.
Honestly, the only downside of Beethoven I can think of is that he's played so much that people might not get a chance to discover Bruckner, Saint Saens, Mahler, Holst etc.
Vox is a symbol if elitism and exclusion. Listen to @SwitchedOnPop and @nyphil explain why.

Name one to whom it is a symbol of elitism and exclusion.
“Not Sir Ludwig von Beethoven! He never did no harm to no one!!”
