PEACE IS THE PRIZE

49
TheMAGAnificent 49 points ago +49 / -0

"Numerous other countries".

These are the same countries from a region so heavily influenced by the deep state that the Arab Spring toppled multiple regimes.

Could it be that Trump has dismantled a large portion of the ME Deep State, and is finally able to out together peace deals?

We know trump does a alot. We see him doing a lot. Imagine the stuff we don't see. Must be a lot going on in the background. And all for our benefit.

Peace is the prize.

Remember, Saudi Arabia was the place President Trump went to on his first overseas trip as president. He gave that wonderful speech to the Arab nations about eliminating radical Islam.

6
TheMAGAnificent 6 points ago +6 / -0

Also, I personally believe the theory that whatever caused the Las Vegas shooting, in the background Trump leveraged it against Saudi, which is why we haven't heard ANY updates, and why several prominent and powerful figures in Saudi were taken into custody immediately after the event.

It almost feels like there is a "party switch" happening. Republicans are now the anti war, free speech party

77
TheReal45 77 points ago +77 / -0

But we are still the anti-slavery, anti-plantation party.

61
9000ENERGY 61 points ago +61 / -0

Republicans were the anti war party until the neocons took over to create the one-party system. They were the RINOs and Never-Trumpers

28
GravityBounce1976 28 points ago +28 / -0

Neo-cons were all former Democrats.

20
IllusionOfChoice 20 points ago +20 / -0

.

13
GravityBounce1976 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yep. Path of least resistance for those traitors. We need to hang them all in public as a warning to the rest of the traitors that their shit will no longer be tolerated.

8
45fan 8 points ago +8 / -0

Specifically, Neocons were originally formed by northeastern Jewish Democrats who became suddenly afraid of the antisemetic lurch of the Democrats in the post-WWII era. Right after the founding of Israel.

They have been obsessed with the Middle East and never gave up their lefty-leanings. They viewed joining conservatism as a matter of survival and not a conversion to conservative ideology.

If you were a poltard you might suggest that there was an ideological subversion of American conservatism by elite Neocons. We are slowly pushing them out it seems.

2
GravityBounce1976 2 points ago +2 / -0

Which is odd, because neo-con idealism is more in line with neo-liberalism (and it's 1930s German socialist roots) than anything remotely conservative. They own their success in the Republican party by high-jacking patriotic nationalism and the military/foreign policy. I guess one can consider that a prerequisite for high-jacking domestic policy. The recent revelations of the Color Revolution outlined in the Revolver.news exposé can attest to that.

4
BeefyBelisarius 4 points ago +4 / -0

Literally trotskyists who were booted from their own party for opposing stalinism.

5
Friendly_B 5 points ago +5 / -0

I don't think they were the Marxists on the Left though. I saw neocons on the Left for a long time and they were super obvious during the Obama years.

Ah yes the Bush Republicans who ruled the party from 1989 to 2015.

Trump did us all a favor of kicking them out.

They formed some weak ass Party in Exile in the form of the Lincoln Project, but they will soon realize that they will never gain power again.

Trump did not move the GOP to his platform. He actually delivered on their platform. The GOP was actually controlled opposition and he revealed it. I have brought up the fact that the republicans controlled both houses and the presidency on January 2016 and they did not pass or try to pass the long list of republican promises. Ask them why Paul Ryan did nothing

7
BeMyFren 7 points ago +7 / -0

I assume the next crop of republicans will be winning on the trump doctrine. We can vote the bums out in 2022. Trump will make the party shift on his platform. We need to send more trump supporters to congress to help him win.

6
based_trekkie 6 points ago +6 / -0

^ This, the McCain RINOS are basically Democrats who ran as Republicans for to give their War Hawking some "plausible deniability"

5
Alpha_plus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yep, you see Ben Shapiro types that snipe at the president every chance they get. Rhinos ride the trump train cause it's popular, not because they truly believe or like what he's doing. The GOP establishment is biding their time, hoping to turn the party back their way in 2024. That's why they keep trying to prop up neocons like Nikki Haley at the RNC.

I think the Rhinos fail though. The MAGA movement is too strong, even without Trump in 2024 to go back to nominating neocon shills. I hope I'm right.

2
aaafirefly123 2 points ago +2 / -0

Won’t work, Trump’s too popular with the masses to go back to the way things were.

Unless I've got my history wrong, before the Bushes, the GOP was more likely to get America out of wars, while the DNC was more likely to get us into wars.

President Trump values the lives of American soldiers, and isn't going to throw them away for political points or monetary gifts from the military industrial complex. It is one of the reasons why we elected him. Trump doesn't need money. They can't bribe him.

41
Deathlessly 41 points ago +41 / -0

ABC News.

You gotta admire Trump. He goes into enemy territory without fear. Numerous times. Where everyone, even the personal assistant to the host hates his guts. Straight into the Lion's den.

And everyone seems to forget who is the Lion.

Deathlessly 12 points ago +12 / -0

People make fun of his bone spur exemption from the draft and yet, more of the American people were served by him running an empire, employing countless people directly and indirectly.

But when it comes to courage, he may not be the first one to run into a firefight, but in the political and social arena, he will take on the weight of the world as they laughed and belittle him.

These arrogant Globalists and rogue nations. They know if they fuck around, he'd let them find out. He'd shoot them in the dick, which, to a nation, would be their economy. Where all the tanks, ships, planes and influence comes ejaculating from.

And he can do that because he knows how things work. These fucking traitor generals know how to wage war. But they don't know how to make both sides not want one.

And you do that, by making everyone have something not worth losing.

8
chinesevirus 8 points ago +8 / -0

The President understands you don't have to flaunt your military prowess to have a a great military. Defense gets such a big budget partly because of bloat, partly because of the MIC, and partly because of deployments - deploying militaries is not cheap, especially when you're all over the world with many resources in combat roles for nearly 2 decades.

Imagine how different our world would be had this country not be in the hands of criminals, war profiteers, and sociopaths for decades. Imagine what those $8 trillion could have done had they not been wasted. Imagine what all those lives lost could have accomplished. Imagine no ISIS and far fewer terrorist attacks in Europe. Imagine no migrant crisis in Europe. All these things stem from neocon horseshit and Trump is doing his best to begin the cleanup.

One of the most powerful campaign ads from the 2016 cycle was so good the words stick with me almost verbatim:

"We could have rebuilt our roads, our schools, our hospitals. We could have rebuilt... everything."

2

No one wants war but I can’t help but chuckle at the idea of Trump issuing a draft and watching all the people who call him a pussy become draft dodging advocates over night.

The world overall would be a much better place had Hussein remained in power. There was probably a catastrophe in waiting when he kicked the bucket but I doubt it would have completely and totally destabilized the region and engendered further hatred of the US.

2
idog 2 points ago +2 / -0

President Trump absolutely killed it at that town hall from start to finish. Considering it was apparently pre-taped, I'm almost surprised ABC didn't edit it since it ended up making Trump look really good. Granted, maybe they're counting on the ability to edit Biden's town hall to try to make him look better (and they hope that's enough to "outdo" Trump's performance at last night's town hall), but that's going to be really tough for the editors to pull off...

2
YouKnowWhatItIs87 2 points ago +2 / -0

The part where the lady is asking a question about if he’s taking away coverage for preexisting conditions and he just simply interjects “No” while she’s seemingly near the end of her question and she rudely tells the President to stop interrupting her pissed me off, extremely disrespectful. Plus his answer is great, ACA is currently covering all that PLUS he got rid of the individual mandate so people like me aren’t paying $680/month for individual catastrophe coverage with no co-pay and $5000 deductible (that’s what I had to pay in 2018). Now private non-ACA plan is $1k $35 copay and only costs me $250/month with dental added and I don’t have to pay a 1% or whatever tax penalty at the end of the tax year. Its hard to make network tv viewers understand in a quick answer but I wish he’d play up the time Obama told a lady who’s mom didn’t want to die that she should just take some pills and enjoy her last days. Still a great answer, considering how hostile of an environment it was getting attacked from all angles. he points out right to try among other things.

It's shocking to me that anyone could view that statement as a way to deflect from whatever bullshit "scandal" is being propped up by the MSM and swamp creatures.

Trump is the first President in my lifetime to actually take action to end and prevent foreign military conflict while also securing peace deals and taking steps toward normalizing relations with hostile countries.

Trump is the president the Left was clamoring for for decades with regard to foreign policy. The mindvirus has infected them to such an extent that they actually want endless conflict and war.

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people.

  • Dwight D. Eisenhower

This may be the biggest thing that this incredible man has accomplished.

I used to run r/endlesswar at reddit and I never saw a President that really wanted peace. They all wanted endless war, until this hero came along.

So why doesn't the left stand behind him? Because they really don't give a fuck if thousands of soldiers get maimed and killed.

Hilarious that the libs try to say their stupid loaded questions and then Trump dominates their question by basically showing the audience that the question was completely bogus.

It is painfully obvious that dems are basically saying anything and everything to attack Trump.

"Iraq didn't knock down the World Trade Center...

They said they had weapons of mass destruction. They made a big mistake."

Everyone who instigated, voted for and supporter that war in the highest levels of office, in ALL countries involved, should be fucking hanged for what they did to the Middle East.

3
Dictator_Bob 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lucky for me I knew Hillary was a neocon before the neocons publicly came out for the democratic (war) party. Her and her husband really are criminals that reached higher office. After reading wikileaks, as in actually reading it vs. some article written by some hack online, I really really really dislike Hillary.

Go read syria2.doc.

3
no_step_on_snek 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is the main thing I cared about since I can remember caring about politics. This is the reason I liked Obama in 2008, it is probably the reason Obama won in all honesty. This is the main reason I voted for Trump. For some it was the wall. For me it was the fact that he tore Bush a new asshole at the republican debates and stood steadfast as the big donors in the front row booed. I think this is the main issue driving voting since 9/11.

He literally put innovation into foreign policy as a GOP candidate when the Democrats constantly circlejerked over failed attempts at it.

"we've lost really millions of lives because I view both sides"

How Leftist hate this President blows my mind. He's actually following through with bringing peace to the world when that was the "hope" Obama promised but instead brought more hate and war and its the Democrats who are destroying the nation, stirring up hate and racism.

Trump has even brought prices lower in healthcare to which the boondoggle that was ObamaCare promised and didn't deliver!

It’s more 4D chess. The troops in certain regions are sitting ducks to be sacrificed as a part of agenda against Trump’s re-election. He’s eliminating that possibility and sticking to his promises on foreign policy. 2 birds with one stone.

Always have been.

US involvement in all wars since (and including) WW1 was caused by the left, with the sole exception of the Bush RINOs and Iraq.

And the real cause of WW2 and of course the Cold War was the Soviet Union.

2

The first President to actually try and start ending the war in the middle east. He's trying to bring the troops back home. Finally.

I'm not sure if they'll let him, just because its Trump who wants to do it. But its kind of ridiculous that we have been in a war for 19 years straight.

We don’t need to worry about another Fall of Saigon event because if the Taliban makes a move to take over the government we can rain down drone strikes and destroy what ever Army they’ve amassed to conquer Kabul.

If anything I think we are safe to evacuate.
