But when it comes to courage, he may not be the first one to run into a firefight, but in the political and social arena, he will take on the weight of the world as they laughed and belittle him.

And you do that, by making everyone have something not worth losing.
The President understands you don't have to flaunt your military prowess to have a a great military. Defense gets such a big budget partly because of bloat, partly because of the MIC, and partly because of deployments - deploying militaries is not cheap, especially when you're all over the world with many resources in combat roles for nearly 2 decades.
Imagine how different our world would be had this country not be in the hands of criminals, war profiteers, and sociopaths for decades. Imagine what those $8 trillion could have done had they not been wasted. Imagine what all those lives lost could have accomplished. Imagine no ISIS and far fewer terrorist attacks in Europe. Imagine no migrant crisis in Europe. All these things stem from neocon horseshit and Trump is doing his best to begin the cleanup.
No one wants war but I can’t help but chuckle at the idea of Trump issuing a draft and watching all the people who call him a pussy become draft dodging advocates over night.
