They can get statistics to say anything they want depending on where they derive their number sources, equations, method (mean, median, %, etc.), omissions, and overall assumptions they decide to make throughout. This article is worthless once you skip to the end and read the conflicts of interest, disclosures, and funding sources. That tells you all you need to know. The people performing this "statistical" analysis (as well the people/company/organizations that funded it) all have vested interest ($$$) in the answers/conclusions that are derived from it.
The thing is, very few people deny the existence of covid. A lot of us here are fairly well read on the subject...and im not talking about boomer facebook shares. As far as politicization goes, its more than just the "MAGA crowd" that understands the bigger picture with covid-19 and how its being taken advantage of and used as an opportunity by large domestic and international (ie global) interests. Anyone that doesnt have their brain fully bathed in globalist dogma and propaganda can see whats going on. In fact, the argument can be made thats its mainly the "left" side of the issue that is using covid as a narrative for political means and political opportunism. The dissent in response to this opportunism doesnt mean the dissent is politically aimed. This isnt a political "right vs left" issue to the dissenting side. Its a matter of common sense and choosing not to be a rug mat for the global elites and unelected beaurocrats. If you cant see the shakedown for what it is by now, youre helpless. The first hint should be the corporations, media conglomerates, and advertisers that happen to be aligned with you but i digress. Just know that everyday normal people are laughing at you for being such a low T, nintendo switch face looking chungus that has no sense of self awareness or fortitude. Im not even exaggerating. Youre basically a meme at this point if youre still gung-ho with the flatten the curve social distance warrior messaging.
