What is the likelyhood that this happens? Any Yankees with some insight into this? Looking at the election history from 2008 to 2016 it seems very likely. Compare the map of New York, Maine, New Hampshire ect in 2008 and 2012 where they all went firmly to Obama to 2016 where there were huge sections of each state flipping red. Hillary won New Hampshire just by the skin of her teeth with 47.62% compared to Trump with 47.25%.

New York saw a huge surge in upstate New York turning red too, I could easily see it flipping if the GOP really campaigned there hard. Vermont and Mass. are the only places where it was a really clear blow out in favor of Hillary with no real advance for Republicans from the previous two elections though.

New York won't happen even though I pray it does. NYC, Buffalo and a few other big cities vote lefty. We tried hard getting Cuomo out last State election . Every county besides the big cities voted against him. I don't know any upstaters happy with Cuomo. Plus they changed some of the districts boundaries, that really messed us up in the 2018 midterm. We lost a great Rep Faso to a previous rapper who rapped about women being property.

ME-2 should remain in the Trump camp.

New Hampshire is a distinct possibility if there's a few point shift from D to R this cycle. ME-1 and Maine is a slight possibility in a landslide scenario.

The rest of New England, Biden would have to get destroyed.

NYS will not overcome the NYC vote unless the city burns down with all the people in it. NYC is a magnet for commies across the US who prefer high taxes, public defecation, public drug use, homelessness and rampant crime. Whoever says NY is turning red has never lived or worked in NYC. They’d vote blue if it meant sacrificing their family for it

Damn. I dont know much, so I thought if upstate all banded together they could overwhelm NYC and Albany which I figured to be the unstoppable democrat hives.

There’s also Buffalo and Rochester, the 2nd and 3rd largest cities in NY. I think NY is more of a swing state without NYC, not red. It is a shame though because most of upstate NY is solid red. Much like rural TX. They are just vastly outnumbered

NH, probably. NY, not a chance.

There aren't enough votes in upstate NY to counter the blue cesspool in NYC.

I'm in NY. Trump may have had a shot with 20% of NYC having moved out however mail in ballot shenanigans are guaranteed here. So, I could not recommend expending much of an effort here.

Not a chance in NJ, they are sending mail ins to everyone so they can print and count as many as they need once they have the Trump count

Half of NY lives in the 5 boroughs. Good luck winning every vote of every citizen north of Westchester. I'd love to see it, but it won't happen, likely ever.
