I work in Software engineering. Basically I am being accused of sabotage at work. They say they have the application logs linking me to it. My access has been revoked since this happened 2 weeks ago. I have been asking for evidence against me because it is a basic right of this country to face your accuser, and not do some commie soviet crap. I have been asked to comply with the investigation, write statements, and no one is providing me with the supposed evidence they have against me, just like Soviets, and KGB did back in the day...

I thought this country was better than the soviet commies. I need a way to handle this commie shit. I have been asking repeatedly for that evidence, but all I am getting are, "I don't know if I am allowed to give that information, cooperate with the investigation", and I even got a "less you know the better" answer

Any help on how to tackle this commie shit would be appreciated.

I would definitely get a lawyer involved because even if they "seem" to be on your side, they may not be. And this incident could be used to not only fire you but potentially for legal action against you. So thats why I would get a lawyer involved.

Make copies of ALL the correspondence you have received, write down all the people you have met with, what was said, what you asked. Go to a lawyer immediately and unless they advise against it and can give you really good reasons why; file a complaint against the company immediately. I am not a lawyer so this is not legal advice as I have no legal qualifications, my background is in labor relations.

"I don't know if I am allowed to give that information, cooperate with the investigation"

My response to that would be: Go find out, and come back to me with the answer, or the evidence, in writing, and then I'll be able to evaluate whether I should cooperate with the investigation before engaging an attorney to represent me.

"less you know the better"

Two can play that game . . .

The ballsiest approach: Hire a lawyer, sue the company and the employees involved for slander and libel, compel discovery of their evidence.

Short of suing for something, you aren’t getting evidence if they don’t want you to see it.

Spez: I am not your attorney. This is not legal advice. This is a hypothetical conversation on a meme forum.

I should add I work for the Government as a contractor. So, yes, Government is acting commie and they are saying that they have evidence, along with my IP. Link my IP to app logs

Looks like the the company I am working for is throwing me to the wolves, mostly because of liability, I think. And they are ghosting my requests, they have stopped responding to me even for a simple yes or no question, ...and I think they don't want to tell me anything because they think it will come back and bite them in the ass. I understand it's a delicate situation. But, come on... At least give me the damn evidence. This is also being investigated as employees misconduct. So I don't know which way this damn thing will lead.

First and foremost you need to face the likelihood you will be terminated when this is over. You can, at this time, resign and never have to answer “have you been fired” or “have you been asked to resign” truthfully.

If they pursue legal action, you need to lawyer up.

Document as much as you can. Do lawyer up now.

Best of luck.
