But that doesnt make any sense as a response to the claim that masks are not to protect yourself, but to protect others. No one has ever said masks are to protect yourself, unless they were retarded and didn't understand the original argument since the beginning. Your response is basically, "If your mask works to protect me from your cough, then why worry about me coughing on you without a mask?" See why that doesn't make sense?

By the way, I'm not even slightly worried about getting coronavirus and so I don't personally care if other people do or don't wear masks, I just think people need to get better arguments. If what you think I'm saying is that I'm pro-mask, you're reading me completely wrong. All I'm doing is showing you why your particular argument wouldn't work unless the other person also doesn't understand the original stated purpose for masks.
