It’s funny how Rottit owned iteslef when it said Mexican firefighters were coming up to help us, well, why would they? How come climate change isn’t leading to mass fires in Mexico? Why are they firefighters not needed there?
The funny thing is I linked a paper which researched the history of these fires and found that pre 1800 the fires were actually much bigger. 2 or more times bigger. When settlers showed up and cultivated the land the number of fires obviously went down. Once law's were put in place which limited what could be done to the land in the early 1900s the underbrush began to build up. Fires came back although small and have been getting bigger ever since. They are still much smaller than the older pre 1800 fires but they are growing. The only climate factor here is that after the last ice age cali has been dry and hot. It will probably be that way until the next ice age, could be thousands of years for all we know. One of my buddies didn't even read it and was calling out how wrong it was. Some people don't want answers or reasons for stuff. They want something easy to point the blame at. For this year's fires we actually have something to point the finger at, antifa, but if course now that it's easy they don't want that anymore. Those who read the study simply laugh at him though. He's a cool guy but sometimes he's retarded.
California has had fires for hundreds of years, possibly thousands. We can either throw billions of tax dollars at it every year for the next few decades until we have control or we can just let nature reclaim the area and get out of the way
