Lol "division", regardless of the swamp I'm still voting for Trump.

2
Grief 2 points ago +2 / -0

Honestly, they need to make some arrests and actually drain the swamp before election day to secure my vote. The single biggest campaign promise hasn't even been touched and everything Trump does will be worthless if they can undo what he's done after he leaves office.

Drain the Swamp or bust. I'm in Texas where my vote won't matter, but I'm sure as hell not voting for another politician that won't change the political system in DC. All we get are Deep State operatives as presidential appointments. They aren't even trying and the evidence has been public for years.

1
Grond999 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fair call. The lack of swamp behind Barrs speaks for itself. Its gets hard to separate the 'out of touchers' and the 'do nothings'. All of this adds up to the destruction of America via a thousand cuts.

1
Grief 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sooo painful to watch nothing be done about it.

1
Grond999 1 point ago +1 / -0

All I see is Trump performing chest compressions on America, thus keeping the heart beating. I don't see any of the RepubliCANTs as having what it takes to replace Trump. Not one of them come close. So whilst Trump is performing chest compressions you have the "wake up Jeffs" and "pointless hearing holders" and "stern letter writers" all amounting to making further cuts and wounds into the "America body" Trump is trying to save.

Trump has clearly stated that if he loses America is in huge trouble.

30
HeavenlyTrumpets 30 points ago +30 / -0

2

I stopped being a libertarian when I realized there are groups of people who you cannot get common ground with. There are people who want to kill you. They think you're evil. They won't give you the benefit of the doubt or give you liberties that you, the libertarian, would give them. They will beat you over the head with the hammer you gave them cuz "muh libertarian ideals".

3
DonttrustChina 3 points ago +7 / -4

I think Trump is going to get reelected, and then, when they have nothing left to threaten him with because he's already won, he's going to crush these fools.

But did you think that undoing decades of corruption and restoring the rule of law against the will of an entire political class, media, and oligarchy who have entrenched themselves above it would be EASY? Did you think he could do all that in a single term? Did you think ANYONE could?

6
OldHickorysFlintlock 6 points ago +7 / -1

I appreciate your optimism dude. We will see but history is hard to look past

1
DonttrustChina 1 point ago +4 / -3

History?

Jeffery Epstein is dead. Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison. We're miraculously finding trafficked kids all over the country. Dozens of Hollywood and media perverts have been outed and brought down.

You think it's all miraculous coincidence that these people who were too powerful and protected to touch before all fell during the Trump administration?

Trump has to work within political reality. So does Barr. We've seen what the people we're up against can do. They locked us all in our houses and then burned down the country just to win an election. Imagine what they would resort to if Trump came directly at them guns blazing and they had to save their own skins. Remember what happened to the last President who tried to scatter them to the 4 winds.

If they're moving too slow for you I'd like to see you do better. Honestly, I'll call it a miracle if Trump gets enough done that the work can be finished by the second term of the Cruz administration.

9
Dictator_Bob 9 points ago +11 / -2

Finally. Let me make this clear for people in the back. As apparently there's some people who are not hearing what Barr is saying here.

If you destroy our communities or hurt our citizens under a the Soviet/antifa banner, or under a "black bloc" costume, you are an enemy of the people, by law, and will be treated as such. The punishment for betraying your country is the most extreme there is.

2
peltast 2 points ago +4 / -2

Hey Bag Pipes Barr... what’s stopping YOU from charging them with sedition?

Downvoters: Explain the legal impediment blocking the US Attorney General from imposing direct pressure on his deputies to do so (under not-so-implied threat of termination), or doing so himself? Or we’re gonna keep pretending law and order is just a campaign slogan? I’m pretty fucking tired of swinging against the tide...

I fucking live near this literal inferno. Maybe it’s nice and solidly red where you are, everyone is on the same page as you, people like us aren’t being executed in the streets, but millions of us ARE on the front lines of what is tantamount to a fucking war that doesn’t have to happen.

I am sick and tired of selective law enforcement. Get us out from between this rock and a hard place. I’m not going to abandon the home generations of us have worked nearly a century to build just because it’s “easier” to leave than fight. Fuck that. Fuck you if that’s your advice.
