I hope cops refuse or “take their time” responding to any calls to protect professional athletes multi-million dollar properties.
Unless it’s a call from the wife/girlfriend for a domestic, which is common.
I mean he is a first ballot hof because the dude is one of the best to play the game like oj murdering someone don't mean you don't deserve to be in the hof or record books it just makes a piece of shit person that should be in prison
Small town America literally cripples their schools in favor of giving the local football team state of the art mega areans and sleek new uniforms and hiring the best coaches they can buy, then sit around and wonder why no one gives a shit about cops and will shit all over them because the cool football players on tv told them so.
Football people like to protect football players and other useless members of said teams. It’s really embarrassing and I have zero sympathy for people that defend the NFL. Sick of money getting wasted for HS football when there are plenty of other programs and sports which are far better. Honestly glad that shit is cancelled this year.
Wow.....don't even know WHERE to start. I've NEVER been much of a sports fan - watched a few games in the 70s with dad - and watched the entire 2015 world series with his beloved underdog Royals (who promptly went right back in the shitter after that season) - and there was a LOVE OF THE GAME prior to the pampered multizillionaire prima donna SJWs of now. But you NAILED it with the K-12 (and beyond) SPORTS indoctrination, collective culpability for which I lay equally at the feet of the fanatic parents who instill this mentally ill blood sport mentality in their impressionable kids, an outlook infuriatingly fueled by/shared the coaching staff who tolerate nothing but victory at all costs, anything short of that is "someone else's fault". Look where that mentality has pushed our society. And America is continually TANKING in all scholastic fields due to the uber-focus on Bread And Circuses diversion of All Sports All The Time. Here's another brainless episode of Survivor: Streets Of Portland....go to sleep America, Stay Ignorant.
I am not the biggest fan of cops for various reasons, but I saw something yesterday that really stuck in my mind.
There was an armed robbery in a shopping centre near where I have my burger van set up. Police van screeched to a halt right next to my van and 6 UNARMED coppers (I live in the UK) came thundering out of it and straight into the shopping centre. No hesitation, no fear.
I joked to the stall holder next to me that someone must have mis-gendered someone on twitter, but in reality shots had been fired, people were in danger and they couldn't wait for an Armed Response Unit. That impressed me.
We too often focus on the shitty cops. We fail to understand that just like every other institution they have been infiltrated by Marxist scum, but there are still decent, brave officers who just want to make the world a better place.
I love(d) that guy - and, from this proud Army vet - I in no way meant to dishonor that true warrior's legacy. Still leaving it up as I generally LOATHE these prima donnas. Like comedy and entertainment, pro sports is dead due to shoving the politics down the viewers' collective throats. They've lost their love of the GAME in and of itself.
Modern sports "heroes" are losers who happen to be athletic. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but for the most part, they are famous for being good at playing with balls.
I haven't watched the NFL (outside of super bowl parties) for the last decade. But this is not the best strawman. My physician didn't run into the towers but I'm still glad he's there when I need him.
Does your physician take a knee before coming into the examination room and then try to make you stand for the "black national anthem" before he treats you?
I don't think I missed the point, I can see the tangent. NFL pushing BLM > BLM pushing an anti police agenda > 9/11. I think the way this is set up is silly.
If I wanted to illustrate the NFL's stupidity and hypocrisy, I'd show them a list of NFL banning people speaking out about righteous causes on the left, vs. support of BLM on the right, with terrible things that have happened (e.g., Jacob Blake's victim's family calling them out for supporting a rapist).
NFL banned so many things since 2012. Bible verse eye black. Brandon Marshall raising awareness for mental health disorders. Etc.
But Kaepernick thinks compliance and personal responsibility have no place in today's society so we are now where we are today? Nonsensical. Nobody should support the NFL now, but they lost my support a long time ago.
I hope cops refuse or “take their time” responding to any calls to protect professional athletes multi-million dollar properties. Unless it’s a call from the wife/girlfriend for a domestic, which is common.
Brutal, but they should wait then too. Murder charges stick much better than domestic bs.
True, which player knocked out his gf in an elevator ON CAMERA?
Ray lewis comes to mind

But black people commit a lot of crimes because they are poor and oppressed!
A millionaire jogger killing his own girlfriend is surely due to white people's racism!

I get the sentiment, but this post is disrespectful to Pat Tillman who enlisted on September 12.

Sodom and gomorrah mate. One good person doesn't save a city.
Just imagine dickering with God, getting Him down to 10 ...
The actual number didn't matter. God knew from the start how many good people they would find in those cities.
Abram didn't
Saying that Chinese people are short is disrespectful because Yao Ming exists!
There, I can do it too.

Temporary heros!
Sports is number one!
Both are fighting to destroy us with communism
UFC seems to have their shit wired right.
Adults are paid to participate in games. You are not.
Aren't these fire fighters?
Those pansy-ass overpaid crybabies that make millions to parrot leftist bullshit would NEVER do anything to put their own lives at risk.
Hate those entitled NFL fucks. Roll models my ass.

You have missed the point completely. There is no strawman here. There is some history though

I like the concept, and agree the guy covered in ash is an iconic image.
But he looks a little too similar to Roger Goodell for this, IMO.
